Who says kids can’t learn stuff from professional wrestlers?
Jaxson Dempsey of Hazleton, PA saved his little sister’s life after remembering something he saw WWE star John Cena do on TV.
Alright, it wasn’t an actual wrestling move, and Cena wasn’t even on a WWE program at the time.
Jaxson Demsey, age 8, of Hazleton, is very protective of his 20-month-old baby sister Lelia. That’s why when he noticed she was choking on a chicken nugget last week while his dad was driving, he jumped into action.
“We were driving to my haircut, and I noticed she was starting to choke from a chicken nugget from McDonald’s. I told my dad to pull over. Then I was starting to pat on her back, and it got out,” said Jaxson.
Now, before you go assuming that little Jaxson did a “5 Knuckle Shuffle” or “Attitude Adjustment” on his baby sister, the move he’s referring to happened on a Nickelodeon show called “The Substitutes.”
“It’s called The Substitutes on Nickelodeon, and in the very first episode, John Cena was on it, and in the last part, he showed how to save someone when they’re choking,” said Jaxson.
Here’s a clip from Cena’s appearance on the show.
The family said the experience “has been eye-opening” and now count every day with their children as a blessing.
