The professional wrestling event – officially known as the “Pyongyang International Sports and Culture Festival for Peace” – was jointly produced by NJPW and WCW and featured 15 matches over two nights in 1995.
The second day of the event still holds the record for the largest-ever attendance for a wrestling event, with a claimed audience of 190,000, many of whom were forced to attend or get shot (allegedly) by government officials.
